About Chadwick
Chadwick Twillman’s journey has been defined by service, self-discipline, and redemption. Originally from Texas and raised in Arizona, he grew up believing in justice, hard work, and faith in country. As a teenager, he trained in the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, preparing for a military career before realizing his calling was to protect and strengthen his community at home.
After studying criminal justice and media at Scottsdale Community College, Chadwick’s path took an unexpected turn when a youthful mistake led to time in prison — an experience that forever shaped his understanding of the justice system. He speaks candidly about that chapter of his life. Instead of allowing it to define him, he rebuilt his life through faith, family, and hard work — turning that pain into purpose.
Determined to be a voice for those who’ve been overlooked, Chadwick built a successful installation business and later founded Liberty Studios, an independent media platform focused on transparency, constitutional values, and freedom of information. He also serves as COO of Mountain Mover Firm.
(Note: Unable to find a website or details about Liberty Studios outside of the Arizona Corporation Commission Business Entity Search. The Mountain Mover's firm also does not have a website, but has a Facebook page. It is listed on Michigan's LARA.)
Now living in Saginaw with his wife and five children, Chadwick feels called to serve through public office. With faith and lived experience guiding him, he's running for Michigan's 35th Senate District to help build a fairer, stronger, and more hopeful Michigan.
- Repairing and rebuilding roads, sidewalks, and flood-prone areas
- Replacing aging underground pipelines and utilities
- Prioritizing local construction companies and efficient project timelines
His goal is to ensure that District 35 has safe, reliable infrastructure that reflects the level of investment the state can afford.
12 Bills on the Docket
During the interview, Chadwick shared that he has written twelve bills ready to present on day one. Each addresses a focused challenge in District 35 — from teacher pay and youth opportunity to infrastructure, justice reform, farming, and homelessness. He explained that every bill is crafted as a single-issue proposal, designed to solve real problems without getting lost in partisan negotiation. All are funded through state surplus and federal grants, ensuring new solutions don’t require raising taxes.
Final Thoughts
Throughout the conversation, Chadwick returned to a core theme: local action and courage can transform communities. From education and infrastructure to justice reform and homelessness, he envisions a District 35 where families feel seen, supported, and represented — and where policy is measured by its real-world impact on people’s lives.
